This multicolored wool Stabile rug, handcrafted by hand, draws its inspiration from Calder’s mobile sculptures and Kandinsky’s abstract paintings. Its joyful composition, embellished with rhythmic primary colors, blends harmoniously into the layout of a contemporary space, whether it is a modern living room or a bright bedroom. Carefully made in our workshops, this rug combines the robustness of high-quality wool with the delicacy of the colors on a clean white background.
The colored zones, judiciously distributed around the periphery of the mat, make it easier to use. The pattern retains all its splendor, even when partially hidden under a table or partially slipped under a bed. The combination of lightness and creativity is at the heart of this creation by Toulemonde Bochart. For its maintenance, it is enough to carry out regular vacuuming without brushing and a deep cleaning by a professional approximately every four years, depending on its use.
